Five-star PSU commit names dog Brutus, Ohio State rumors swirl

Five-star Micah Parsons has been committed to Penn State for over a year but the rumors about him decommitting are swirling. The Harrisburg, Pa. star just named his new pit bull puppy after Ohio State's mascot "Brutus".

IN HIS OWN WORDS...

"I just posted my new dog," Parsons said. "I felt like that was just a savage new. I was looking up dog names and it was going to be either Duke, Hercules or Brutus and I just decided to go with Brutus.

"It doesn't really have anything to do with Ohio State but at the same time, I do like Ohio State as a program," he said. "I just liked the name for my dog.

"Everything with Penn State is good," said Parsons. "I'm actually on my way up to Penn State to talk to the coaches now."

RIVALS' REACTION
