First offer for Riddering

Kyle Riddering was invited to the Fresno State summer camp but he couldn't make it because of other obligations. That didn't stop the Bulldogs from offering the local prospect.
The 6-foot-6, 230-pound athlete from Fresno (Calif.) Clovis North said he's been talking with the Fresno State staff recently and landed his first offer.

"They came to one of our practices in the spring and I talked to coach (Pete) Germano, the recruiter for our area, and they invited me to their camp," Riddering said.
"I couldn't go to their camp because I was at another camp but I've been in contact with them and just recently they offered me."
It's his first offer and Riddering is seriously thinking about playing for Fresno State since it has a lot to offer especially for someone who lives so close to the campus.
"It would be a great experience to stay at home and play in front of my family, where I've grown up around," Riddering said.
"They have that going for them which no other school can really offer. It's a good school and it's absolutely a consideration."
Many other schools are showing early interest in Riddering, who could play tight end, offensive tackle or defensive end in college.
The Fresno Clovis North standout said Colorado State, Oregon State, Air Force, San Diego State and Oregon are getting involved as his senior season approaches.
