Chuck Filiaga is not focused at all with the recruiting process but that should take care of itself if the 2017 prospect continues playing so well.

The offensive tackle from Murrieta (Calif.) Vista Murrieta has landed offers from Ole Miss and Washington State so far and others could be close but Filiaga said he's only focused on finishing out his season first.
Last weekend, Vista Murrieta topped Upland, Calif., and it faces Mission Viejo, Calif., this Saturday in the next round of playoffs.
"They say practice is the outcome of the game and we had great practices from Monday through Thursday and it showed on the field," Filiaga said after the Upland victory. "We showed this is how we play.
"So far, I honestly don't know about recruiting since I'm only a sophomore. I'll focus on that later as I get more into my football career. Right now I'm just focused on football and my academics, keeping my grades up. It's great not having to worry about it."
Filiaga, a 6-foot-6, 270-pound prospect, is originally from American Samoa and played his freshman season at San Diego (Calif.) St. Augustine.
Now at Vista Murrieta, the 2017 prospect is excited about his future and seeing which programs become involved in the coming years.
"I actually feel this is such a great football program at Vista Murrieta and I feel really great about it," Filiaga said. "I know I'm not college ready but I just feel like as I unlock more hidden talents within me at my position I could be a great college player someday."
