Filiaga loves USC trip

Chuck Filiaga had never seen a college football game in person before this weekend and the 2017 four-star lineman definitely had a memorable trip to USC. The Murrieta (Calif.) Vista Murrieta standout said he had an excellent time watching the Trojans beat Arizona and they have to be considered a top contender in his recruitment.
WHAT'S NEXT?: Filiaga, who can play on the offensive or defensive line, does not have any other visits planned since he's focused with his Vista Murrieta team on playoffs. So far, the 2017 four-star has landed offers from Ole Miss, San Diego State, USC, UCLA, Washington and Washington State. More could definitely be on the way because Filiaga is a tough, hard-nosed, productive prospect.
IN HIS WORDS: "It was a great experience watching my first college football game in person," Filiaga said of USC. "I loved the stadium and the crowd. Everything was just amazing. I really was speechless. Meeting the coaches for the first time was great. They all introduced themselves to me thanking me for making it out to watch them play and hope I enjoyed the game and my visit. It was really a great time. I loved it."
RIVALS' REACTION: Filiaga is just getting started with the recruiting process but it's expected he would stay closer to home. That means this could be yet another USC-UCLA battle for one of the area's top 2017 prospects.
