Felton lands major Big 10 offer

Demetric Felton noticed a coach from Michigan followed him on Twitter and shortly thereafter he was talking to members of the staff, landed an offer and now is seriously considering the Wolverines.
"One of the coaches followed me on Twitter and he started messaging me and said he saw my film," Felton said.

"He started talking about my film and everything and that's when I started talking to all the other coaches like coach (Jedd) Fisch and coach (Tim) Drevno. They said they really liked my film and that's when they offered me a scholarship.
"It's really huge to get an offer from Michigan early because that's a top team right there. It's very huge."
The three-star athlete from Temecula (Calif.) Great Oak has now landed offers from the Wolverines, Arizona State, California and Utah.
Felton has not talked too in-depth with the Michigan coaching staff about how they envision using him but he thinks it's for slot receiver. He's perfectly fine with that and said he's excited to learn more about the new coaching staff.
"I'm thinking I'll be a slot receiver," Felton said. "I believe coach Fisch is the passing coordinator and he was talking about me playing on offense and talking about slot so I assume that's where they're recruiting me."
More interest is coming in for Felton, who said Washington State, Washington, Duke and USC have reached out recently.
Two programs especially stand out to the Temecula Great Oak athlete at this point even though it remains in the beginning stages of his recruitment.
"It's a bit early because I haven't visited and all that but definitely Michigan and Cal are showing the most interest in me by how often they talk to me," Felton said.
In his junior season, Felton finished with 1,277 rushing yards and 15 touchdowns on 161 carries. He also caught 26 passes for 560 yards and seven scores.
