“Weston was offered by coach (Houston) Nutt this afternoon,” said Robert Dacus, Weston’s father. “Coach Nutt said they couldn’t wait until summer camp to offer him since they liked him that much.”
Dacus lists Arkansas as his top team with heavy interest from other teams like Iowa, LSU, Memphis, Nebraska, Texas A&M, Auburn and Ole Miss.
“Iowa sent him four letters today,” Dacus said. “This is really starting to pick up for all of us. Oklahoma State told the coach at the school that they’d be by on Monday to evaluate him and look hard at him.”
Dacus is 6-foot-2 and 225 pounds. He has been timed in the 40-yard day at 4.7 seconds, plus he also has a 340-pound bench-press and a 535 pound squat.
