Favorites emerging for Kemp

Deland (Fla.) three-star all-purpose back JoJo Kemp hasn't eliminated any schools, but does have a few that are sticking out at this time.
"Everybody is still in the picture for me and I am still open to all schools, but a few schools are standing out to me right now," Kemp said. "I like Arizona State, Kentucky, Nebraska, Pittsburgh, West Virginia, and USF - those are the main six."

The 5-foot-10, 189-pound back talked about what has those six standing out at this stage of the process.
"I did all my research on them and liked what I learned," Kemp said. "Now I just want to take all my visits and see how I fit in at each school. I also want to get to know the coaching staff. I want to see how the team gets along. I just want to see the depth chart. I will just go from there."
Kemp has one visit scheduled for the summer already.
"I am visiting South Florida on June 23rd," Kemp said. "That is the only visit I know of right now."
As for checking out his other five top schools, that will likely wait until the season rolls around.
"I want to see all of the other schools," Kemp said. "I know that I will use my official visits. I already have my five down already to take. At this point, they would be Arizona State, Kentucky, West Virginia, Nebraska, and Pittsburgh."
At this point in the process, the Sunshine State back doesn't claim a favorite.
"They are all pretty even right now," Kemp said.
He says he will make a decision whenever he finds the right fit for himself.
"I am not working with a timeframe, just whenever the time is right," Kemp said.
As a junior, Kemp rushed for 1,163 yards on 178 carries and 14 touchdowns.
