Fast rising QB gets Pac 10 offer

Fast rising California quarterback Keith Price (6-1, 180, 4.7) from Bellflower (Calif.) Saint John Bosco received his second offer yesterday and this one from a big time Pac 10 school.
"I just received my second offer from Washington," Price said. "I love the place."

"I went up to Washington on Saturday (June 28th)," Price said. "It was my birthday, but this trip was strictly business. There were two quarterbacks I was competing against and I ended up winning the spot."
"Washington emailed me today (June 30th) with the offer and it said that the written offer from Coach Tyrone Willingham was mailed off today as well."
"I felt like committing, but I have to talk about it with my family," Price said. "Seattle is a big football town. The fans come to the games in boats and from all around the state."
"Washington has great tradition," Price said. "Actually I love everything about the school and the football program. The campus is and the athletic facilities are nice, but what impressed me the most was the stadium, it was huge."
"I may still visit Louisville and attend their camp on July 19th, but I'm not really sure at this time."
The scouting report on Price is he has a good arm and can make all the throws. One of the reasons, he is so valuable, is he's just as a good a passer on the run, as he is in the pocket. Price is definitely someone who a team could run the spread with.
As a junior, he earned all-league honors while playing in the same league with USC verbal commitment Matt Barkley. Price passed for 1,200 yards and nine touchdowns. He also picked up 350 yards on the ground while running for seven touchdowns.
While it appears that Price may pull the trigger, if he doesn't don't be surprised if he lands a couple more scholie offers before the end of summer.
