“I received an official scholarship offer from Iowa State on Friday," Rafael Eubanks said. “I don't know a lot about the Cyclones, but I do know that they are pretty close to home, and that they have a very solid program in Ames. I'm definitely going to do some research on Iowa State, and I'm excited to get an offer from them."
Eubanks has also started to receive phone calls from college coaches. "I've gotten calls from the Georgetown and Notre Dame. Georgetown is a school that has three kids from Cretin already on it's roster, and academically it's a great school. Coach (Greg) Mattison from Notre Dame called on Sunday, but unfortunately I wasn't home to take the call from him. He left a message that he would call back."
Eubanks, who now has scholarship offers from Iowa State, Maryland, Stanford, Northwestern, Wisconsin, Arizona State, Iowa, Kansas State and Minnesota, has been told that he will have a few college coaches visiting Cretin-Derham this week. "The coaches from Iowa are scheduled to be in school on Tuesday, and the Northwestern coaches are due in school on Wednesday."
