St Paul, Minn. Cretin-Derham offensive line prospect Rafael Eubanks (6-foot-3, 290 pounds) finished his May evaluation period strong. Eubanks has received a late-May offer from the University of Missouri.
“I've received an offer from the University of Missouri," Rafael Eubanks said. “I know that Missouri is definitely a team that is on the rise, and that they have some really good players coming back for this season. They play in the Big 12 conference, which is just a great football conference overall. I also know that they have been making major improvements and renovations to the facilities. I'm very happy about getting an offer from Missouri."
Eubanks also talked about his May evaluation period. "I had 6 offers at the end of March, but I wasn't sure about how things would go for me in May to be honest. Now that I have 11 scholarship offers, it's truly a blessing and I would have never guessed that I would have this many options a few months ago. I take a lot of pride in the fact that so many coaches and schools have shown me such great respect as a player. I'm very thankful."
Now that Eubanks is in the middle of his final exams week, has he begun to think about narrowing down his favorite schools list? "I'm going to give that some serious thought this summer, and I'm hoping to narrow things down before the end of the summer. I want to narrow things down before I start my senior season."
Eubanks also has a handle on his summer camp plans. "I'm going to camp for a day or two at the U (Minnesota), and I'm also planning to camp at both Wisconsin and Notre Dame this summer."
Rafael Eubanks has scholarship offers from Illinois, Iowa State, Maryland, Stanford, Northwestern, Wisconsin, Arizona State, Iowa, Kansas State and Minnesota.
