Emerging SoCal QB lands offer

There is another quarterback emerging from the Golden State of California. In what is turning out to be an outstanding year for signal callers Keith Price (6-2, 180, 4.7) from Bellflower (Calif.) Saint John Bosco is another name to jot as he is beginning to come on strong.
Price already has one offer on the table from Nevada and San Diego State could be soon offering the strong armed quarterback after having an outstanding camp with the Aztecs.

Price also had a terrific showing at UCLA's one day camp two weeks and UCLA even called the school asking for his transcripts.
"The UCLA camp went well," Price said. "I started out rocky, but then I got my rhythm and I started to throw the ball like I know how."
"San Diego State's camp went really well, too," Price said. "There was a lot of talent. Ricky Marvray who I hooked up several times with at UCLA's camp and my own wide receiver at Saint John Bosco, Leon McFadden (5-10, 160, 4.5). I think Leon will get an offer from San Diego State once they see his transcripts."
"I had a meeting with San Diego State after the camp," Price said. "Coach Holton was talking to me and said that I was one of the best athletes they are recruiting and there aren't a lot of people who can do the things I can do. He told me that I impressed the whole staff."
Besides Nevada and San Diego State, other schools showing interest in Price are Louisville, Washington State, Utah, Montana State, Portland State and Villanova.
Price has a good arm and can make all the throws. One of the reasons he is so valuable is he's just as a good a passer on the run as he is in the pocket. Definitely someone who a team could run the spread with.
As a junior, he earned all-league honors while playing in the same league with USC verbal commitment Matt Barkley. Price passed for 1,200 yards and nine touchdowns. He also picked up 350 yards on the ground while running for seven touchdowns.
Price is definitely one to keep an eye on.
