One of the most sought after prospects in the 2027 cycle is ready to trim down his recruitment.
Ethan "Boobie" Feaster of Desoto (Texas) holds over 40 offers in his recruitment but has determined a select group he will focus on moving forward. Just starting his sophomore season, Feaster has announced a top-18, trimming his recruitment in more than half.
The list consists of Baylor, LSU, Oregon, Georgia, Oklahoma, Michigan, SMU, Texas, Miami, Texas A&M, Colorado, Tennessee, USC, Penn State, Texas Tech, TCU, Ole Miss, and Nebraska.
The 6-foot-2, 180-pound wideout had a breakout freshman campaign for Desoto in 2023, in which he had 32 receptions for 634 yards and nine touchdowns.
This fall, Feaster is set to take a handful of visits. First comes LSU on Sep. 7, followed by Oregon, Nebraska, Texas, and Baylor with dates to be finalized.
Feaster was a standout at this summers' Rivals Five-Star event, where he was able to face off against some of the top prospects in the 2025 and 2026 classes. The analysis on his performance coming out of the event was a glowing review.
"Have we already found the No. 1 receiver in the 2027 class? Fellow 2027 Texas receiver Trenton Yancey has dynamic ability unlike any other in the class right now but Feaster has the size, length, toughness and playmaking ability that makes him one of the better receivers in the country regardless of class." - National Recruiting Director Adam Gorney
