Tristan Leigh

Recruitment: Leigh hasn’t tipped his hand much during his recruitment, but his top contenders continue to be Oklahoma, LSU, Ohio State and Clemson. LSU was the clear leader at one point, but the Tigers have lost momentum because the Sooners are surging. Leigh just visited Norman for the second time during the pandemic, and his relationship with five-star Oklahoma quarterback commit Caleb Williams has been driving his interest in Lincoln Riley’s squad.

Florida should be getting Leigh on campus this weekend, but the Gators likely have too much ground to make up. Ohio State and Clemson are hanging in there, but their odds are getting worse. Leigh plans on signing during the Early Signing Period this month but will make his decision known on Jan. 2.

Prediction: Oklahoma

Drew Kendall
Drew Kendall (Rivals.com)

Recruitment: Kendall has remained mum on his plans so far, but there is a chance he signs during the Early Signing Period. This much is clear: His recruitment is boiling down to Boston College and Stanford.

If Kendall signs next week, Boston College will likely be the beneficiary, but if he waits until February, then Stanford will probably get him. Kendall would have been committed already, but the dead period really threw off his whole timeline.

Boston College has commits from a few of his friends and a current teammate in Casey Phinney, plus his father was a star offensive lineman from 1992-95, but the lure of Stanford, its academics and the way it develops players has a strong pull on Kendall.

Prediction: Boston College

George Rooks
George Rooks (Rivals.com)

Recruitment: There have been a lot of twists and turns throughout Rooks’ recruitment. A commitment was rumored to be on the way multiple times within the last two months, but nothing has come. It appears Rooks’ recruitment will come to an end during the Early Signing Period. Michigan and Penn State have been battling it out for his commitment, but Boston College has come back into the fold recently. This one is a tough call, but it seems like the odds are in favor of Rooks landing in the Big Ten.

Prediction: Penn State

Recruitment: An early commitment for Georgia, Jeudy backed off his pledge in September. The Philadelphia native looked like he was going to follow in the footsteps of players like D’Andre Swift and Mark Webb, both Philadelphia natives themselves. When he originally chose Georgia, Jeudy picked the Dawgs over Texas A&M and it looks like the Aggies are in position to secure his next and final commitment. Jeudy is expected to sign during the Early Signing Period and announce his decision on Jan. 2.

Prediction: Texas A&M

George Wilson
George Wilson (Rivals.com)

Recruitment: South Carolina won a hard-fought recruiting battle to get Wilson onboard in July, but the firing of Will Muschamp led to Wilson opening his recruitment up again. Now the Virginia Beach native is considering North Carolina, Auburn and Florida State. North Carolina was the runner-up for Wilson’s commitment the first time around, and the Tar Heels are a very serious option for Wilson again. Florida State has done a good job building a relationship with him lately, but Auburn appears to be the favorite heading into his Dec. 18 commitment.

Prediction: Auburn
