DiBona schedules an official

A month ago linebacker Shane DiBona picked up his first offer from the Big Ten. The Duxbury, Mass. prospect is now making plans to take an official to that school as he awaits word on more offers in the near future.
"I've been getting letters from Connecticut and Boston College," he said. "They aren't really saying much directly towards me about offering.

"I am waiting to see what other schools will do before the season. They all want film, so I'll send it to them after my first three games. Then I'll probably make my decision."
As he waits word from the Huskies and Eagles, DiBona has scheduled an official.
"I've been making plans to take an official visit up to Iowa for the Northwestern game on September 27th," he said. "I've been up there before. I was impressed. I liked the atmosphere and the fact it's a football town. Everything there revolves around the football team."
The two-star prospect opens the season on September 6th.
"We should be pretty successful this season," he said. "We're expecting big things from this senior class.
"I want to work on my speed. I want to get a little bit quicker too."
