Despite Purdue offer, 3-star DB still solid with Mississippi State
The Latest: It hasn’t been long since three-star defensive back Landon Guidry committed to Mississippi State, but that hasn’t stopped schools from attempting to get back in the mix. Guidry has fielded several offers from schools hoping to get him on campus for another visit but with no luck so far. Most recently, Purdue extended an offer, but according to Guidry the new attention hasn’t changed his mind one bit.
In His Words: “The fans have been nothing but supportive and I’m really feeling the love. The family aspect that Mississippi State has to offer is great and now that I’m part of the family I’m really enjoying it. The new offers don’t change anything.”
Rivals Recap: Guidry was waiting on the chance to play for the Bulldogs so it’s not a surprise to see him staying loyal despite new interest. The Boilermakers won’t be the last school to add to his offer list, but it would be surprising to see Guidry seriously entertain any other offers.
