Cowboys reel in another Texas OL

Many people may not be familiar with the name Nick Martinez but that didn't stop the Floresville, Texas offensive guard from showing up at the Oklahoma State camp and earning an offer. His decision followed within hours.
The 6-foot-4, 290-pounder was a sophomore and junior year all-district member as an offensive lineman. Martinez quietly went about the recruiting process, but wasn't getting a ton of exposure. After attending the Oklahoma State camp last week, he found out that an offer was coming and he decided to jump on it.

"Yes sir, I committed to Okahoma State yesterday," Martinez said. "They actually offered yesterday and I just decided to go ahead and do it. I guess I did real well at their mini-camp and they liked what they saw."
Martinez also shared time at defensive tackle during his high school career, but says that he had to fight off constant double-teams. Oklahoma State who is recruiting him as an offensive guard impressed him when he made the trip to Stillwater.
"They had shown the most interest in me," Martinez said about the Cowboys. "They seem like a really good school and it was a family-like place. They treat you very well you could say. The offer from them opened the doors, but this is it for me. It's where I want to be and I'm solid."
"I'm not looking around."
Martinez was recruited by main recruiter Doug Meacham and OSU offensive line coach Joe Wickline.
