Corp lands first three offers

Things are starting to get interesting on the recruiting front as more offers are going out every day. Orange Lutheran (Calif.) quarterback Aaron Corp picked up three offers this past week including one from his current leader.
Corp, 6-4, 195 pounds is a national level recruit and easily one of the top quarterback prospects in the country. He's a two time all-state underclass selection and had a very good junior season throwing for 1,836 yards and 15 touchdowns to go with 633 yards on the ground and eight more scores.

Things have definitely picked up recruiting wise as Corp landed three offers, all from Pac 10 schools this past week.
"Arizona offered me earlier in the week and then Oregon and UCLA offered me yesterday," Corp said. "I talked to a coach from Arizona and they offered me over the phone. Oregon called my coach and offered and UCLA called my coach and said they wanted to talk to my dad and then when my dad called them back, they told him they were offering me."
The offer from UCLA is an intriguing one because it came on the same day the Bruins offered another SoCal signal caller, San Diego (Calif.) St. Augustine's Chris Forcier. Both Corp and Forcier have commented in the past that UCLA was no worse than a co-leader so the obvious question was if the recent offers put any pressure to make an early commitment.
"No, I'm not ready to commit right now," Corp said. "I love UCLA and it would be great to play there but I still like some other schools as well. Stanford is right there with UCLA at the top of my list and I've heard they could be offering me soon as well. My transcripts are good and I just need to take the SAT which I'll be doing in April. My coach is planning to take my and two of my teammates out to Stanford early in the summer for an unofficial visits as well.
"The next month or so will be pretty busy. I'm going to UCLA's Junior Day March 4 and I was also invited to Junior Days at USC and Arizona State in early April and I want to attend both of those. I'm also going to try and take a visit out to Arizona and check things out. I know things can change but right now, my plan is to just wait and see who else offers me and take my time with all the process to make sure I'm doing the right thing. I don't want to rush in to anything right now."
