Another top prospect is off the board as Keon Sabb announces his commitment to Clemson. The Rivals100 prospect is a New Jersey native playing at Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy but he was a well-known player before arriving at the powerhouse high school.

Sabb took official visits to Georgia, Penn State, Texas A&M, and Michigan in June on top of an unofficial visit to Clemson. He was also looking at teams like Alabama, Oregon, and LSU for potential visits down the road.

WHAT THE TIGERS ARE GETTING

Clemson is getting another really good player in the secondary now that Sabb is onboard. He's a big, physical safety with excellent ball skills and the athleticism to compete with nearly any receiver he comes across. Sabb shows off some impressive instincts and does a nice job of locking down the middle of the field. He's already a pretty big safety so he could find himself playing closer to the line of scrimmage if he adds much more mass to his frame.

WHY IT'S BIG FOR CLEMSON

Dabo Swinney and his staff are on a roll right now and it shows in the team rankings. They were sitting at No. 32 at the beginning of the day and now they've jumped up significantly with Sabb now in the fold. Clemson already has a commitment from Rivals250 safety Sherrod Covil but Sabb is a very different style of safety and the two should compliment each other well. Sabb's recruitment featured multiple National Championship contenders but Clemson did not shy away from Sabb. Tigers flexed their recruiting muscles a bit by landing Sabb over teams like Georgia, Texas A&M, Michigan, Penn State, Alabama, Oregon, and LSU.
