Claytor getting more looks

Interest is picking up for Gainesville (Ga.) offensive tackle Nick Claytor.
According to GHS assistant coach Todd Wofford, Miami (Fla.) has invited the 6-foot-6, 300-pound tackle down for the Hurricanes Junior Day on March 4.

Florida also recently called the school and requested a game tape of the tackle prospect. The Gators staff indicated that if they liked what they saw, the likely would extend a scholarship offer.
Ohio State has been involved as well. Claytor is originally from Ohio, so the interest from the Buckeyes has him interested.
Clemson, Boston College and Georgia Tech may be weeks away from extending an official offer to Claytor. Those schools have been recruiting him very hard, according to Wofford.
There is a possibility that Claytor will head to Athens for Georgia's Junior Day. The Bulldogs are expected to offer at some point.
Gainesville is a 30-minute drive from the Classic City.
Claytor helped the Red Elephants, one of the most storied high school programs in Northeast Georgia, make a deep run in the Class AAA playoffs in 2005. His teammates, offensive lineman C.J. Wood and defensive back Brandon Cobb, also are Division I prospects.
