CB now focused on recruiting

For Terrence Mitchell last weekend was a big disappointment, as his Hillsborough team lost in the first round of the playoffs. Mitchell now will rest for a few weeks and concentrate on recruiting.
"We just didn't perform well and our offense couldn't get anything going," Mitchell said. "We lost to Largo and finished 6-4. Now it's on to recruiting. I will take a few weeks off and get ready for the track season."

Mitchell has already (officially) visited Georgia and Tennessee. He will visit North Carolina (12-5) and USF (12-12) and also plans on visiting Florida State. His last visit was to Knoxville.
"I had a good time (at Tennessee)," Mitchell said. "It was a good visit. I really liked talking with Monte Kiffin a lot. I knew of him because I am from Tampa. He's a good guy. I didn't get a chance to talk with Lane Kiffin too much. But I talked to the players about him and they say he's a good coach.
"I am still high on Georgia. They are right there. I mean nothing really has changed with me. I will have a decision in January at the earliest and I am pretty open with everyone.
"I will visit Florida State in January. That's when they want me to come in."
Mitchell is one of the top track standouts in the Tampa Bay area. He runs the 100 meters (10.59) 300 (38.03) hurdles, long jump (24'2"), and triple jump (47'8").
