Gray calls the 'Canes his dream school and he grew up a big fan of UM. However, when asked if he is 100% to Miami? He said, "About 80%."
So why is not fully committed to his favorite school? Gray said, "Some schools want me at quarterback and others at athlete. I want to play quarterback."
He said depth chart and playing time will be a factor if he decides to open things back up.
Miami has told him they will use him at receiver and he appears comfortable on the outside. He likes the coaching staff and his family is happy he is staying close to home.
According to Gray, Alabama is checking on him at receiver and USF is still showing interest.
At the Rivals Camp Series presented by Under Armour Miami he worked out under center. He will start at quarterback after splitting time at receiver as a junior. Gray finished with over 400 yards receiving and 5 touchdowns playing on the edge.
He is unsure if he will take any official visits other than Miami at this time.
