Calloway looking at Pac-12 visits

Tere Calloway usually works out at 4:30 a.m. so getting to Washington for an unofficial visit at 6:45 a.m. should not be a problem. The Seattle (Wash.) Seattle Prep cornerback is looking forward to the trip.
"I'm looking forward to meeting the DB coach because I haven't met him yet," Calloway said.

"I want to see the new coaching staff's coaching style. I'm supposed to be there at 6:45 for the meetings to see their coaching style so I'm really looking forward to that. I want to see how they coach and how the players fit into their system."
Calloway, a 5-foot-11, 185-pound three-star cornerback, shined at the recent New Level Athletics Elite 7on7 and he has seen his recruitment pick up. So far, he has earned offers from Colorado, Idaho, Portland State, Purdue, San Diego State and SMU and could be landing more soon.
"Things have picked up," Calloway said. "I know my San Diego State offer came mainly off my performance in Vegas. A lot of schools have been talking to me a lot harder since then because they saw I'm among the top defensive backs on the West Coast."
Other than his Washington visit on Wednesday, Calloway is planning a return trip to Oregon State next week. He has already taken one visit there and things went really well so he's looking forward to another trip to Corvallis.
Since his recruitment is just picking up, Calloway said no frontrunners have emerged at this point.
"I love their coaching staff," Calloway said of Oregon State.
"I really felt like a part of the family there. I met coach Mike Riley, his dog, his wife, everybody. The entire coaching staff was there to host me on the unofficial visit and it was a day they weren't even scheduled to be on campus all day. I like it a lot down there."
