Cali star to visit Michigan

Four star defensive end Jeff Schweiger, Jr. (6-5, 245, 4.5) from San Jose (Calif.) Valley Christian has the work ethic that separates the great players from the good. It isn’t by accident that Schweiger has over 35 offers on the table, his ability matches his heart.
Schweiger has been working hard this off-season to get ready for his senior season and has improved his from 350 to 385.

Schweiger has a top five schools of Miami, Michigan, Notre Dame, Oklahoma and USC in particular order.
The Michigan Wolverines and Schweiger are currently trying work put an official visit.
“I’m supposed to take an official visit to Michigan next week,” Schweiger said. “I’m working on the specifics.”
Michigan will be taking on Central Michigan at the “Big House” this Saturday, August 30th.
“I have talked to USC about a visit,” Schweiger said. “I may take the visit later in the season, but I’m not sure yet.”
There are no dates for any other visits at this time.
UCLA, Nebraska and Colorado are schools on the outside looking in and could end up being a factor in Schweiger’s recruitment by the season’s end. It all depends on how well they perform this season.
Schweiger’s junior season performance saw him selected League Linebacker of the Year. He was also selected all-state (underclassman), all-CCS, all-metro, all-area, all-league and was his team MVP after he racked up 138 tackles, 13 sacks, 12 quarterback hurries, ten tackles for loss, four caused fumbles, three fumble recoveries, and two deflected passes.
