With rumors and speculation abound that the five-star player had chosen to attend USC, Byers was puzzled.
“There is a lot of people that have thought I’ve made a choice,” the 6-foot-4, 280-pound Byers said. “I have not committed anywhere. I am still in the process.
“I’m kind of where I am. I’m right in the middle of the decision process. I’m sitting down with my parents and trying to talk it over. Sometime in the middle of this week, we’ll have a decision.”
The schools Byers is considering include Ohio State, Iowa, Texas, Southern California, Notre Dame, Colorado, Nebraska and UCLA.
