Four-star Cincinnati (Ohio) Winton Woods offensive tackle George Brown has scheduled several out-of-state visits over the next two months, and he broke them down this week.
"My next visit will be Saturday at Kentucky," Brown said. "After that, I think March 7th, I am going down to Auburn. March 22nd I am going back out to California."
Brown just returned from a California trip in January when he visited both UCLA and USC. He expects to see both schools again when he returns to Los Angeles next month. UCLA has already offered Brown, while USC is still evaluating the 6-foot-6, 265-pound lineman.
"I talked to the o-line coach, Coach (Tim) Drevno, and he said he really likes my highlights," Brown said. "He just wants to see me in person, so he said he was excited for when I come down there. I talked to Coach (Steve) Sarkisian again and he likes my highlights."
Kentucky has hosted Brown on multiple visits over the last year. His teammate, Mike Edwards, signed with the Wildcats last week and he has several friends who enrolled early with the 2014 class in Lexington.
"I just want to get down there and talk with the coaches more and kick it with my friends," Brown said. "Mikel (Horton), Thaddeus (Snodgrass), Darius West and all those guys are down there now, so I want to see how they like it. They have a real good recruiting class for 2014 and I really like what they are doing recruiting guys really hard."
Brown previously visited Auburn last summer, and will return to the campus while his father hosts a camp in that area next month.
"It will probably be more looking at the academic side this time," Brown said. "I just want to get a chance to talk with the coaches some more."
A stop by Georgia Tech's campus is also possible when Brown is in the south visiting Auburn, and he is also lining up a visit with LSU on April 11 to see a spring practice.
Brown is currently playing basketball for his Winton Woods High team. He is averaging 16 points and 10 rebounds a game this season.
