Brown enjoys trip to Aggieland

Duncanville, Texas, three-star athlete Pierre Brown is back from Texas A&M and it was a visit he’s still definitely excited about.
“It was really good,” Brown, who is 6-foot-2 and 180 pounds, said. “We hung out with the players, and spent a lot time just being college students. I liked that aspect quite a bit. It was fun to just hang out with them, go out on the town and see what it’s like to be a football player at A&M.”

Brown said he was also impressed with the coaches, too.
“Coach Franchione is a good guy, and really honest with you,” Brown said. “I appreciate that. He told me he could see me playing anywhere from cornerback to receiver or even use me like they use Jason Carter. I wouldn’t mind moving around and finding a way to get my hands on the ball.”
However, Brown admits he’s a long way from being near a decision – especially with two other Big 12 official visits lined up in January.
“I’m going to Oklahoma this weekend and then to Kansas State the following weekend,” Brown said. “We got a chance to watch the Big 12 championship game with the guys from A&M. They couldn’t believe how bad K-State was beating Oklahoma. I kind of thought OU would win, but I’ve watched K-State for a while. I knew they were good.”
Brown has also lined up visits to Arkansas on January 9 and then LSU on January 16.
