Brown close to KU offer

KELLER, Texas - Junior receiver DeAundre Brown has picked up two early scholarship offers from Louisville and Tulsa. However, he reported at Saturday's NIKE Combine in Keller, Texas that a Big 12 school may be close.
The 5-foot-11, 179-pounder says that Kansas along with a few other schools could be next on the offer list. Two other schools currently lead for Brown as well.

"I've had a lot of attention from Kansas through mail and text messages," Brown said. "Other than them, I'd say Texas Tech is real close and LSU is in there as well."
The Tigers and Red Raiders are currently in the lead for Brown's services.
"I just know that with Texas Tech, they pass a lot and it's a good place for a receiver to go to," Brown said. "LSU, it's a challege, because you're playing with the big guys in the SEC."
Brown says that though he has leaders, he'll probably make his decision closer to Signing Day in order to make the "right choice."
According to Brown, his 40-yard dash time was in the 4.6-second range this past weekend, but says that he's in the 4.5-second range normally.
