Christian -- Three-star, No. 64 2016 Texas Top 100
Overview:  Oklahoma State has always done a great job of
finding guys who fit in well and may be a little under the radar. The Cowboys
were the first to offer Nick Starkel before he blew up and Mike Gundy
and Co. have also returned to some familiar territory with A.J. Green
and La'Darren Brown from DeSoto.
Just Missed
Rice is not included because the Owls do not have a
commitment from anyone ranked three stars or more. However, Rice comes in with
17 Texas commitments and 570 Texas points, which would put them ahead of
Oklahoma and Oklahoma State. Texas State was also on the list, but the decommitment of three-star defensive back
Desmon Smith knocks them off the list.
Alabama just misses the top 10, which says a lot considering the Crimson Tide only have three commitments from the state of Texas. Rivals100 DT Kendell Jones is joined by Rivals250 QB Jalen Hurts and three-star OL Chris Owens adds some punch. Stanford is just behind Alabama, but they did move up with the addition of three-star RB Brandon Stephens. He is joined by Rivals100 TE Kaden Smith and three-star DT Michael Williams in the Cardinal class.
