Big-time RB Not Close To Deciding
Atlanta (Ga.) Washington standout running back Nick Turner has yet to narrow down his list of schools. He knows he’ll have to do so, but he’s in no hurry.
“Probably by the end of the season,” said the 5-foot-11, 182-pounder who could also play wide receiver in college. “Then I’ll take a few official visits and make my choice.”

Turner has offers from Auburn, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Florida, Arkansas, South Carolina, Clemson, Miami, Michigan State and others. While he camped at Auburn, he can’t list any school he likes the best.
“I like them all the same right now,” he said. “I have to go through all the stuff I’ve received and figure out what teams I like, but the season is more important to me right now.”
Turner rushed for 1,997 yards last season with 27 touchdowns.
“I couldn’t get those last three yards.” He laughed.
Turner runs a 4.4-second 40-yard dash and can bench-press 270 pounds. His 32-inch vertical leap has some schools looking at him as a possible receiver. His senior season begins on August 25th.
On South Carolina, Turner said, “I really like the way they use the running backs in their offense and I like coach (Buddy) Pough. I’m interested in them.”
