Big numbers turn attention to Texas QB

Lake Travis, Texas, quarterback Todd Reesing put up some big numbers during his junior season. The effort last fall has turned into recruiting attention from colleges this spring.
"I've been in touch with some schools," the 6-foot, 180-pound Reesing said. "I've been talking to Duke, Purdue, Stanford and Baylor. Those are at the top of my list. Nobody has offered me a scholarship, yet.

"I'm also hearing from TCU and Texas, some too. Mostly just some mail from those two, is all."
Reesing threw for 3,150 yards and 29 touchdowns. He rushed for 350 yards and five touchdowns.
"We run the spread offense, four wide. I am a pocket passer, but I'm not. I scramble real well and I can throw well on the run. I think I'm a true dual-threat guy."
Reesing has a few camps in mind for this summer.
"I'm going to mini-camps at Duke, Purdue and Baylor for sure. I don't know if I'll get to Stanford or not. It just depends on if it works out with the dates."
