Best of the Rest: Las Vegas Pylon

Recruiting Wrap: UCLA is the early favorite for Alloway but he's hopeful Oregon offers soon.
Performance: Alloway was one of the biggest offensive weapons on Ground Zero, the tournament champion, and he was an asset at receiver all weekend. The four-star caught numerous medium-range passes and made defenders miss. He went deep a few times for touchdowns and also caught short balls.
WR
Dee Anderson
Mesquite (Texas) West Mesquite
Recruiting Wrap: Anderson is committed to LSU but plans to take all five official visits.
Performance: The first thing that stands out about Anderson is his length. He's 6-foot-4 but looks even taller because he has long arms and legs and that really helps him against any cornerback. Toss the ball up high and Anderson can go get it. He's a threat all over the field, whether it's down the sideline or going across the middle. The LSU commit is a huge target, so quarterbacks only have to get the ball in his area and Anderson has great hands to go get it.
QB
Eric Barriere
La Habra, Calif.
Recruiting Wrap: Barriere is just getting started with the recruiting process.
Performance: As he showed at the Los Angeles Rivals Quarterback Challenge last weekend, Barriere has a phenomenal arm and incredible zip on his passes. He fires the ball out and it gets to receivers very quickly. In Las Vegas, the La Habra standout also showed great accuracy and a beautiful deep pass, where he hit receivers multiple times for touchdowns on routes in the middle of the field.
QB
JaQuan Blackwell
Perris (Calif.) Citrus Hill
Recruiting Wrap: Blackwell is just getting started with the recruiting process.
Performance: One of the top receivers on tournament champion Ground Zero, Blackwell has good size and is a physical receiver who can use his size to get open. If cornerbacks are hanging on him, the Citrus Hill recruit can muscle them up and catch the ball. He also has good speed and strong hands so he makes difficult catches look easy.
CB
Damuzhea Bolden (2017)
Las Vegas Bishop Gorman
Recruiting Wrap: Bolden holds an offer from Hawaii and has heard from Arizona, Arizona State, Nebraska, USC and Washington.
Performance: Bolden was a standout on a defense that made it to the tournament championship game. He closed quickly on balls thrown up the middle and was very good covering the back half of the secondary. The 6-foot-3, 185-pound Bolden is lengthy and rangy and should be a pillar for one of the best defenses in the country this fall.
QB
JT Daniels (2019)
Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei
Recruiting Wrap: Daniels is new to the recruiting process.
Performance: The 6-foot-1, 170-pound quarterback has yet to take a snap in high school, but he's already proving to be a prospect worth monitoring. Daniels had to split time with 2017 dual-threat prospect Tua Tagovailoa over the weekend, but definitely held his own against players much older than him. He already has great arm strength and will only get smarter as he deciphers coverages.
WR
Ethan Dedeaux (2017)
Henderson (Nev.) Liberty
Recruiting Wrap: Dedeaux is new to the recruiting process.
Performance: Even when he wasn't making sprawling catches, Dedeaux was making a difference for quarterback Tate Martell downfield, drawing safety help because he was getting open so often. Dedeaux has great mobility and shiftiness -- traits that should make him a dangerous slot-type receiver at the next level.
WR
Isaiah Diego-Williams
San Juan Capistrano (Calif.) JSerra Catholic
Recruiting Wrap: Diego-Williams is just getting started with recruiting.
Performance: Diego-Williams is undersized, but he uses his diminutive stature as a weapon. The JSerra Catholic prospect had one of the nicest moves all day to sidestep a defender and then he scored on the same play. It was one of the best overall plays of the entire tournament and drew a raucous reaction from the crowd. He's fast and shifty and Diego-Williams has great hands, so he catches a lot of passes.
DB
David Eure (2018)
Gardena (Calif.) Serra
Recruiting Wrap: Eure is new to the recruiting process..
Performance: Eure just finished up his freshman season, but he is already aggressive, confident and competitive against some of the best players in the country. He's marked as one of the next big prospects coming out of Serra; competing against major competition every day in practice should be beneficial for Eure. Eure is smooth and tough and really does not back down from any receiver. Actually, he seems to seek out the top ones to test himself.
WR
Simi Fehoko
Salt Lake City (Utah) Brighton
Recruiting Wrap: Fehoko recently visited Utah and wants to see more schools this spring and summer before narrowing down his choices.
Performance: The top-rated player in Utah had one of the best catches all weekend, but he was pushed out of bounds before coming down or it would have been a touchdown. Fehoko skied for an overthrown pass in the back of the end zone and caught it with his fingertips, but an alert defensive back shoved Fehoko while the three-star was in the air and he couldn't come down in-bounds. That was his best play, but he made many catches, has nice, wiry length at receiver and has really sure hands. He's the top prospect in Utah for a reason and he showed it in Las Vegas.
TE
Isaac Garcia
Bellevue, Wash.
Recruiting Wrap: Garcia is committed to USC.
Performance: The Rivals250 defensive end lined up exclusively at tight end throughout the weekend and fared well on routes up the middle, weaving past defenders and showing good hands when he got opportunities. Garcia made a great catch on the first day where he also managed to keep his feet inbounds, displaying the nifty footwork that could make him a viable option for the Trojans on offense.
QB
Max Gilliam
Thousand Oaks, Calif.
Recruiting Wrap: Gilliam is just getting started with the recruiting process.
Performance: Gilliam continues to have a strong off-season at 7-on-7 tournaments and camps and that should help his recruitment in the coming months. The Thousand Oaks quarterback has a strong arm but what's most impressive is his accuracy. He spins it, throws it on a line and - most importantly - right to receivers even when they're covered up by cornerbacks. He can also throw on the run and pick up yards by running but that cannot be utilized in 7-on-7 settings.
WR
Aleva Hifo
Menifee (Calif.) Heritage
Recruiting Wrap: Hifo is committed to BYU.
Performance: Hifo is listed as a defensive back by Rivals.com, but he performed especially well at wide receiver and his excellent hands and consistency stood out most. He doesn't have incredible speed or size, but he knows how to run routes and get open and then everything thrown his way he hauled in for nice yardage. Whether BYU uses him on offense or defense, Hifo is a playmaker.
WR
Dwayne Johnson
Murrieta (Calif.) Vista Murrieta
Recruiting Wrap: Johnson is new to the recruiting process.
Performance: Johnson is solidly built and an imposing threat through the air. He was effective on underneath routes and turned well up field, staying low to the ground despite a hulking frame. Johnson made a number of catches against some long corners.
WR
Joseph Jones
Upland, Calif.
Recruiting Wrap: Jones has garnered looks from various Pac-12 programs, but no offers yet.
Performance: Jones has a long and lean build that makes him an intriguing receiver prospect moving forward. Despite his length, he moves well and makes quick breaks on the ball. The three-star prospect also has a good set of hands that give quarterbacks plenty of room for error.
DB
Elijah Molden (2017)
West Linn, Ore.
Recruiting Wrap: Oregon seems to have the slight edge in his recruitment but Washington has also offered and many others are showing interest.
Performance: Molden is simply a talented cornerback in everything he does. The 2017 prospect doesn't get shaken off receivers at the line, he stays stride for stride through their routes and then he pokes the ball away once it comes his way. Molden is excellent in bump-and-run coverage as well. He's also intelligent and knows when to let the safety take over when in zone coverage. Molden has it all from a mental and physical standpoint even if he's a tad undersized.
WR
Jarrin Pierce
Mission Hills (Calif.) Bishop Alemany
Recruiting Wrap: Pierce has garnered looks from various Pac-12 programs, but no offers yet.
Performance: Pierce was far from a headliner going into the event given all the talent at receiver, but there were glimpses that suggest he might be a bit overlooked in Southern California. The three-star prospect made some acrobatic catches and has a great feel for intermediate routes.
WR
Grant Porter
Upland, Calif.
Recruiting Wrap: Porter holds offers from Colorado State, Kansas, Utah and Washington State.
Performance: One of the fastest-rising prospects in the region, Porter shined on an offense that claimed the tournament championship. The three-star prospect doesn't wait for the ball to get to him and plays with unmatched urgency and effort. He wiggles through traffic well and isn't afraid to get physical when he has to.
CB
Jason Rucker (2017)
Beaverton (Ore.) Westview
Recruiting Wrap: Rucker is new to the recruiting process.
Performance: Rucker was an interception machine, breaking quickly toward the ball and easily keeping up with receivers down field. He recognized routes and was very smart in reading quarterbacks throughout the weekend.
WR
Emmanuel Rugamba
Naperville (Ill.) Naperville Central
Recruiting Wrap: Rugamba has upcoming visits to Illinois, Indiana, Missouri and Vanderbilt and has also been in contact with Notre Dame.
Performance: It might have been difficult to find a prospect that was more consistent than Rugamba, who stood out on one of the more talented teams in the event. He showed good footwork and was a nuisance on crossing routes, but he also made a difference in the red zone.
WR
Jacob Sirmon (2018)
Bothell, Wash.
Recruiting Wrap: Sirmon has received mail from Georgia and Oregon early in the recruiting process.
Performance: The 6-foot-3, 203-pound quarterback already looks the part from a physical standpoint and he backed it up all weekend. In one game, Sirmon threw four touchdowns and guided a Washington-based team to an upset victory. He throws a good spiral and puts good velocity on the ball.
LB
David Tate
Fresno (Calif.) Edison
Recruiting Wrap: Tate recently landed his first offer from Colorado and said many other schools are showing interest.
Performance: Tate was incredible, especially on Saturday, moving sideline to sideline quickly to stop short passes and even dropping back in coverage, tipping balls or being generally disruptive against any passing game across the middle. Tate is a long, aggressive linebacker who teamed up with five-star Caleb Kelly to form a formidable duo for the DB Guru Elite squad.
WR
Chris Taylor-Yamanoha
Rohnert Park (Calif.) Rancho Cotate
Recruiting Wrap: Taylor-Yamanoha recently added offers from California, Colorado State and Oregon State, and he's been hearing a lot from Arizona. He might take another visit to Louisville in the coming months.
Performance: Taylor-Yamanoha is another California-based receiver that currently has double-digit offers and would likely get more publicity if he were a part of any other class. He showed a knack for getting open and was particularly impressive on out routes toward the sideline, using good body control to overpower cornerbacks.
LB
Lokeni Toailoa
Rialto (Calif.) Wilmer Carter
Recruiting Wrap: Notre Dame is recruiting Toailoa the hardest but UCLA, Utah, USC and Washington are also very much in the mix. Ole Miss and Vanderbilt are showing the most interest.
Performance: There were times when teams would try to trick Ground Zero's defense and run the ball, but Toailoa was regularly right there to track down the back and make the stop. Often, offensive players would try to get to the edge but the four-star was fast enough to track them down and cut them off. In the middle, he moved well and was effective stopping the pass. Toailoa has seemed to gain some weight, but it hasn't hindered him too much.
QB
Brevin White (2018)
Mission Hills (Calif.) Bishop Alemany
Recruiting Wrap: White, the brother of Arizona State quarterback Brady White, is new to the recruiting process.
Performance: With his brother having experienced much success in the 7-on-7 scene the last few years, White knows what it takes to thrive in the tournament setting. He looked poised and prepared for the spotlight, making gutsy throws and having the recognition to attack defenses.
