"I got an offer from Miami (Ohio) awhile ago back in May," he stated. "I don't know much about them. I'm making arrangements to take a trip out there in the first week of August. I'm excited to find what it's like there.
"I'll be checking out the environment and football. It's more than just one dimensional; I'm going to live there for four years. I just want somewhere I find a certain comfort level."
Other schools recruiting the Keystone State lineman including Boston College, Rutgers, Pittsburgh, Minnesota, Maryland and Connecticut. What kind of interest is he hearing from those?
"I went to camps at all of them except Minnesota. I also went to Virginia, Michigan and Michigan State," he stated. "Most of the colleges are telling me to have a good season and they'll see how things play out this year."
Currently the two-star prospect claims no leaders.
In the meantime, Behmke is keeping busy with football in preparation for the upcoming season.
"We officially start on August 13th and I think as a team we're looking to have a good season," he said. "Personally, I just want to try to get stronger and faster."
