SAN ANTONIO - Hundreds of potential college football prospects converged on the Alamodome last week for the U.S. Army National Combine, and many of those players impressed the Rivals.com team of analysts.

The combine coincided with Saturday's U.S. Army All-American Bowl which featured numerous players who worked out at the same event one year ago.

On the offensive side of the ball, wide receiver was the most impressive position led by Pennsylvania recruit Robert Foster and Florida standout Ahmad Fulwood, who is slated to play in next year's Army Bowl.

The offensive line was also a strong group that featured some 2014 stars in Damian Prince and Donell Stanley plus a bunch of rising seniors who impressed during one-on-one drills.

The quarterback position was not the strongest position at the combine, but it had some standout players including Brogan Roback, who has offers from Bowling Green and Toledo so far but could be getting many more after his showing.

Roback

First Team: Brogan Roback, 6-4/185, Toledo (Ohio) St. John's

Roback showed off a strong arm, especially on his short and intermediate passes, and what was really impressive was how he spun the ball. Not only did the ball come out well, but Roback also was very accurate during one-on-ones. We would have liked to have seen some deeper routes to see how strong Roback's arm really is, but he did a good job during his reps and was probably the most consistent quarterback at the combine.

Glenn was one of the most impressive prospects from a physical standpoint regardless of position at the combine. The Texas prospect has great size, moves well and was definitely impressive during one-on-one drills against the linebackers. Johnson was undersized but he was extremely explosive and was almost unstoppable against only one defender. Johnson was almost always able to run past anybody he went up against.

Foster caught almost every pass thrown his way, showed off great hands, ran great routes and he has great body control. The Pennsylvania recruit backed up all his impressive offers and has to be considered among the best receivers in the East. He's also competitive and didn't shy away from going up against cornerbacks who wanted to battle him during one-on-one drills. Fulwood is long and lean, strides really well and when the ball was anywhere near his hands he hauled it in.

Dobard was the best tight end at the event and backed up some impressive offers on his list. He has great size, uses his body well to shield linebackers from getting after the ball and Dobard made some really tough catches during one-on-one drills. If there was one player at the combine that looked like a prototypical Division I tight end it was Dobard.

The offensive line group featured a bunch of big boys led by some 300-pounders and two 2014 prospects who really backed up their reputations. Mahon, Dawson and Miller were all immovable objects on the line and also moved their feet well for being so massive. Prince and Stanley were going against upperclassmen but stood their ground, looked to have advanced techniques and clearly made a statement that they're two of the top rising junior linemen in the country.
