Atlanta (Ga.) Douglass is one of the most loaded schools in the country when it comes to producing Divison I prospects. Few schools can match the number of players that the school has sent to colleges over the last few years and one more name to add to the list is safety Jeremy Chambliss.
"I committed to East Carolina a few days back," Chambliss said. "I took a visit up there not too long ago and I really enjoyed it a lot. I liked the facilities, the campus and the coaches. I think I fit in real well with the coaches and the way they plan to use me."
The 6-foot-1, 180-pound Chambliss runs the 40-yard dash in 4.6 seconds, has a 250-pound bench press and 400-pound squat.
"I looked at some other schools, but East Carolina was the best fit for me and I think I can help take that program to the next level," Chambliss said. "The coaching staff is really what sold me on the school."
