Alabama junior talks Saban, offers

Mountain Brook (Ala.) offensive lineman Tyler Love figures to be one of the top offensive tackle prospects in the Southeast in the Class of 2008. Rivals.com caught up with the 6-foot-7, 280-pounder, who talked about the new coach at the University of Alabama and a recent scholarship offer he received.
Love was impressed with The Crimson Tide's hiring of Nick Saban to lead the football program.

"I thought it was a good hire," he said. "Coach Saban is a great coach. Whatever team he goes to, he's been successful at the college level. He's what Alabama needs."
Love hasn't heard from the new Alabama staff yet, but recently picked up a scholarship offer from a rival Southeastern Conference program.
"I got and offer from Ole Miss right before the dead period," Love said. "I sent all of my tapes out right before the dead period, so I'm just waiting on what happens there."
Previously, Clemson, Vanderbilt and Louisville had extended scholarship offers to the talented trenchman.
Love added that he doesn't have a firm list of favorites at the moment.
"To tell you the truth, I haven't really leaning to anybody," he said.
He also is unsure of his spring combine/camp/junior day schedule.
"I'm not sure yet right now," he said. "I have to figure it out with school and all. I put school first, then I'm going to concentrate on football."
