Ah Mu is back from Colorado

Our top rated defensive tackle in the state, San Diego (Calif) Serra’s Fevaea'i Ah Mu, returned from his official visit from Colorado and said there is now a new leader at the top of his board.
Ah Mu, 6-0, 300 pounds is a monster in the middle of the line and is talented enough to play early in college. He has already taken one official visit to Arizona and said he loved his time in Boulder.

“It was great, I had a really fun time,” Ah Mu said. “I got there around 9:00 Saturday morning and met with the coaches for awhile before the game. They ended up beating Kansas State in one of the most exciting games I’ve ever seen. I really liked watching the coaching staff work with the players on the team, they really interact well and that impressed me.
“Coach Wilson is their defensive line coach and the one recruiting him and I like him a lot. We talked all trip about how I would fit in with their defense. The trip was overall, pretty mellow. We had a team BBQ and everyone I went with my host, there had to be a coach there too but I was fine with that. Everyone gets along really well, the players and coaches and I saw that first hand all weekend.
“If I had to name a leader right now, it would have to be Colorado. I loved Arizona too and by no means are they out of it. It’s going to be a tough decision for me but right now, I just think Colorado is the best overall fit and the place I felt the most comfortable.”
Ah Mu had also made some changes to his visit list and has now set all five trips.
“I dropped Washington and added Washington State and Oregon,” Ah Mu said. “I’m going to visit Washington State this weekend (Nov. 19) for the Apple Cup. Then I have San Diego State (Dec. 3) and my last trip will be to Oregon (Dec. 10). Those are basically my final five. I liked UCLA a lot early on but they haven’t called me in about two months so I’m guessing they want to go in a different direction.”
Academically, Ah Mu is carrying a 3.1 GPA and scored a 980 on the SAT.
