Ah Mu close on next official visit

At the SoCal Nike Camp in San Diego last April, there wasn’t a better defensive lineman in attendance than Fevaea'i Ah Mu. Ah Mu, 6-0, 296 pounds dominated every opposing lineman he went up against and reminded us a lot of another Polynesian defensive lineman we saw at the SoCal camp three years ago, UCLA tackle C.J Niusulu.
We expected big things from Ah Mu heading in to the camp as the lineman had a big junior season earning league defensive MVP, first team all-county and first team all-state underclass honors after totaling 100 tackles and 10 quarterback sacks. The lineman showed a great burst off the ball, is very strong and plays with a fire that you have to love.

On the recruiting front, Ah Mu took an official visit to Arizona two weeks ago and was set to take visit No. 2 this weekend before having to re-schedule it.
“Arizona was a very good time, I liked it a lot,” Ah Mu said. “They have a great campus, the weight room and the strength coaches were great and I really like all the coaches there. It’s an intense group of guys but I like that, that’s my style as well.
“I was set to visit Colorado this weekend but our game was moved from Friday afternoon to Friday night so I won’t be able to make it. I’m hoping to take it in two weeks and will also visit Washington State and UCLA although I don’t have visits lined up with them yet. For my last visit, I’m thinking of maybe checking out State (San Diego State). They’re the local school, were one of the first to offer me and I like what they’re doing over there right now.”
Ah Mu said he currently has written offers from Arizona, SDSU, Washington State and Washington and a verbal offer from UCLA.
“USC just called me for the first time today as well,” Ah Mu said. “They invited me to the game with Cal this Saturday but I’m not sure if I can make it. That will be one great game so we’ll see if I can get out there, I would love to see it that’s for sure.”
