Aggies first to call Oklahoma WR

Oklahoma City (Okla.) Putnam North wide receiver Kenny Brown continues to attract interest from schools and one new school was added to his list when the phone rang Sunday night.
"Things are really going good," the 6-foot-3, 185-pound Brown said. "There are several schools that are recruiting me, but the first to call me was Texas A&M. Coach (Chris) Thurmond called me. He told me that had come up to visit the school last week. He told me I had an offer in the mail. I haven't gotten that yet, though."

When the offer from the Aggies arrives, it will be the first one for Brown.
"I have no other offers. Hopefully this will get it started. Right now, my top schools are Texas A&M, Michigan and Tennessee. I also like the in-state schools quite a bit."
The summer camp circuit will keep Brown busy.
"I am going to Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Texas Tech, Texas A&M, Michigan and hopefully Notre Dame. That will keep me going and hopefully, they will all fit in together on the calendar."
During his junior season, Brown hauled in 48 passes for 464 yards and eight scores.
