After strong camp performance DB Darreon Moore hopes Oregon offer is coming

Darreon Moore ()

The Latest: Class of 2017 3-star defensive back Darreon Moore has had a busy summer, with recent stops at Colorado, Oregon and Oregon State for camp workouts. Like most players this time of year, Moore is camping in an effort to add more offers to his list that already includes FCS powerhouse Eastern Washington. Rivals.com caught up with Moore to get the latest on his recruitment, including a potential offer from one of the West Coast's top programs.

In His Words: "Two schools that really liked me were Colorado and Oregon they both seem really close to offering. The head coach at Colorado came and talked to me and said he really likes my film and said he wants to keep in touch. And then at Oregon the DB coach gave me a private workout and he said he had seen enough to know I'm an offer-worthy guy. He said they were going to keep in touch and he followed me on twitter so I’m trying to build that relationship. [Oregon DB coach] Coach Neal is an old school guy. He’s straightforward and he tells it like it is and I like that about him. He knows what he wants. The facilities at Oregon are amazing. Everyone talks about the uniforms but I feel like the facilities and the behind the scenes stuff is what really keeps the program growing. They have all the tools they need to succeed. I’m going to try to get back before the end of the summer."

Rivals Reaction: Oregon has never been shy to offer under the radar guy so it's not a big surprise to the Ducks taking a long look at Moore. Most on the West Coast think he's a guy worthy of FBS attention, so he should have his share of options before it's all said and done.
