A solid Aggie commit

Even though Texas A&M didn't win this past weekend against Texas, the Aggies put on a good shot for several recruits on unofficial visits, and this includes Aggie receiver commitment Kenny Brown of Oklahoma City (Okla.) Putnam City North.
"I went to the game this past weekend and it was great, a wonderful game," Brown said. "After the game I told Reggie McNeal good luck in the future. He had a great career there.

"I got to meet some of the other wide receivers there, and I talked to Stephen McGee. I can't wait to get down there and play with him. He's a great quarterback, and I can't wait to catch some passes from him. It's going to be a lot of fun playing with him the next few years."
Brown said he scheduled his official visit for this weekend with A&M assistant Chris Thurmond. He said Thurmond was in-home with him on Tuesday night for an in-home visit.
"We have a pretty good relationship," Brown said. "I'm still firm to A&M. I'm not hearing from any other schools, really."
