Rivals250 running back Mychale Salahuddin committed to USC about two months ago and things appear to be running smoothly but trouble could be on the horizon for Trojans fans. The Washington (D.C.) H. D. Woodson star is looking to take visits to two schools much closer to home.

IN HIS OWN WORDS…

"Everything is going perfectly with USC," Salahuddin said. "It's what I always wanted to do. Coach McCullough is my guy. He said I could come into his running back room and definitely make an impact from a leadership, academic and football standpoint. I'm trying to get Matt Corral to commit again. This recruiting class is going in an upward direction. We've got one of the top linebackers committed with us. The defense is looking good but I just need to get a dominant quarterback to come with me.

"I have three official visits that I'm planning," he said. "Maryland, North Carolina, and USC. I don't have any dates yet I want to go to USC's game against UCLA. They (USC) know that I'm still taking visits."

RIVALS' REACTION

Everything Salahuddin has said about USC lately has been nothing very complimentary but it's hard to get a read on whether these visits he will take are serious or if he just wants to have a good time. He has two teammates currently committed to Maryland and the Tar Heels are working very hard to get one of his other teammates. Time will tell how serious Salahuddin is when it comes to actually looking at other schools.
