CEDAR HILL, Tex. -- The word is out on 2020 Rivals100 running back Seth McGowan, and he starts to really focus in on his recruitment, it’s clear that he’s already been the focus of several top college programs.

As he continues to pick up offers - SMU and Wisconsin being the most recent - he’s also taken recent visits to Baylor, Oklahoma and Oklahoma State. Before the end of summer, he’s hoping to make stops at Georgia and LSU as well.

“It’s been a little erratic as far as communication, trying to establish my interests and look into what’s best for me, my family and my future” he said. “I’m just trying to take it slow and make sure that I make the right decisions with my recruiting process as far as my visits, attending spring games and that stuff.”

McGowan has continued to show at events this spring that he is certainly one of the top prospects in next year’s junior class, both at the Dallas event of the Rivals 3 Stripe Camp Series presented by adidas and again this past weekend at the Under Armour All-American Camp. Now into the double-digit offer territory, it wouldn’t be a big surprise to see those tentative visits to Athens and Baton Rouge yield a few more.

“I believe those visits could lead to offers,” he said. “[LSU running backs] Coach (Tommie) Robinson, I talk to him on the phone and he said that he really likes me as a person as far as work ethic and things like that. He saw my film, he liked my film and I talked to him on the phone for about 30 minutes the first time that I talked to him and we started communicating consistently.”
