2017 LB enjoys South Carolina visit

He's just getting into the heart of his sophomore season, but Class of 2017 Vidalia (Ga.) linebacker Nate McBride has already collected four major offers. The 6-foot-2, 212-pound prospect boasts verbal's from Florida, Georgia, Georgia Tech and South Carolina, with the Gamecocks getting a visit earlier this month when they hosted the Bulldogs.
"It was a great visit the stadium was hyped and packed," McBride said. "After the game in the locker room it was so much fun. The players were so excited."

McBride was also at South Carolina over the summer and said he's starting to develop a nice relationship with assistant coach Kirk Botkin.
"He's great," McBride said. "He will hug me and give me high fives and just cut up, you can tell he's an outgoing man. Coach Sands is our area recruiter and he is cool, too."
McBride said he will take another visit to Columbia later this season.
"I know I'm going to the South Carolina-Furman game because my brother plays for Furman," he said. "After that, I might go to the Georgia Tech-Miami game."
According to McBride, he is averaging 10 tackles a game for 4-0 Vidalia, while also averaging about 50 yards rushing a game as an offensive player.
