2014 MD wideout is one to watch

North Potomac (Md.) Quince Orchard 2014 wide receiver Elliott Davis is a prospect to watch. It's early, but colleges are just starting to take a look at the 6-foot-1, 165-pounder.
"There hasn't been a lot of interest at my school," he said. "I do have some dream schools though, Oklahoma State, Duke, Miami, Florida and West Virginia.

"I've always wanted been a Duke fan even for football even though they haven't been great. It's just a very prestigious academic institution."
On the field, Davis came from DeMatha to Quince Orchard where he posted seven receptions for 80-yards and a touchdown. He added four tackles on defense.
"I did ok, but I transferred at the middle of last year and it was a big adjustment. I was behind a lot of people last season."
With not a lot to go on yet, what sticks out about Davis?
"I'm very long limbed, I have long arms and legs," he said. "I'm not slow, and I am able to use my height as an advantage."
It helps that Davis is a major track athlete as well.
"I do the triple jump and high jump," he said. "I posted a 42.7 in the triple jump which was top three in the nation and I'm top five in the nation in the high jump for my class. I'm also top ten in the nation for the long jump.
"Several coaches have recruited me for track so far too."
