2008 Jersey RB holds two offers

2008 running back Rashad White out of Teaneck, N.J. is already getting some major attention. The 5-foot-10, 157-pounder holds two offers from the Big East.
"Rutgers and Cincinnati have already offered him," Teaneck head coach Dennis Heck said. "He's probably going to end up being a national level recruit because he's going to be offered by everyone after the season. He has unbelievable films and is already getting stuff from Southern Cal, Miami, Penn State and Notre Dame. They are flooding him with mail."

Does White have any early favorites?
"He told me recently that he favors southern schools, possibly Florida, but it changes all the time," he said. "I know he likes Ohio State a lot as well as most of the other schools that have offered."
This season White is exploding for Teaneck.
"He's been averaging around 200-yards per game and in all the years I've coached, he's the most explosive tailback I've had," he said. "A few years ago, I had Lance Ball who went to Maryland and he has already broken his single game rushing record.
"He is an unbelievable back that has great speed. He played 16th nationally last year in the 200 meter dash. Right now his weight is around 170-pounds, but we want to get him up to 190 and keep that speed. Aside from that, he is also a great cover corner, but his future is at running back."
As a sophomore, White ran for 1,400 yards and 11 touchdowns.
