Zach Anderson sets first visit

One visit is set up and others are in the works for offensive/defensive tackle Zach Anderson.
“Everything is about the same,” said the 6-foot-6, 250-pounder. “I’m visiting Pittsburgh Jan. 14 and trying to set something up with Akron soon. I want to take a look at places and then make a decision.”

Anderson is also interested in Purdue and Virginia. The Prospect Park (Pa.) Interboro talent said he doesn’t have a strong favorite, but some things do stick out from the first school he has set up a visit with.
“Pittsburgh has a good business school and I think I could get good playing time pretty quickly,” Anderson said.
Anderson also has another tie to Pitt. His older brother Bryan Anderson played for the Panthers before moving on the Chicago Bears.
Interboro just missed the playoffs with a 8-3 record, so Anderson can turn his full attention to recruiting.
“I’m still looking and seeing how things will play out,” Anderson said.
Anderson is ranked as the No. 44 offensive tackle in the country and the 23rd best player in the state of Pennsylvania.
