Yriarte talks about his decision

The last time we caught up with Westlake Village (Calif.) Oaks Christian offensive lineman Cory Yriarte, it was a few days after his visit to Boise State. Yriarte said he loved the visit but wanted to take one more visit before making his decision.
That second visit never materialized as Yriarte decided to make a commitment to the Broncos.

"I know my original plan was to take another visit to San Diego State," Yriarte said. "After talking thing over with my parents though, we decided that no matter how good the visit was, I wasn't going to be going anywhere other than Boise State.
"So since I knew I was going to end up at Boise State, I didn't want to waste San Diego State's time by taking a visit. Boise was such a good visit and I really felt comfortable with the players and coaches there. My parents were as excited about the visit as I was so I decided to jump on the offer last week.
"It feels pretty good right now to have the decision behind me. Boise State is a great school that has one of the top football programs in the nation. Just knowing where I'm going to be for the next five years of my life is a relief and big load off my mind."
Yriarte plays guard for Oaks Christian and could end up at guard or center for the Broncos.
