Young picks up two offers

Pensacola (Fla.) Woodham linebacker Lawrence Young has two scholarship offers in-hand and continues to hear from a number of other programs.
The hard-hitting linebacker currently holds offers from Florida International and Louisiana-Lafayette and is getting attention from South Florida, Florida State, Alabama and West Virginia.

"Getting the offers made me feel pretty good," Young said. "But I am going to wait until after the season to see what happens before make any sort of decision."
The 6-foot, 195-pounder says that currently, the Seminoles and Bulls stand out the most to him among the schools that haven't offered yet.
"I have always kind of liked FSU," he said. "I visited USF and saw the campus and it was real nice. I really liked the atmosphere down there."
The Crimson Tide also has his attention.
"I went up to Alabama for camp and I liked all of the coaches," Young said. "They are all real down to Earth people."
Currently, the all-Northwest Florida selection, is preparing for the forthcoming season.
"I working out and running," Young said.
Young, the No. 85 overall prospect in the Rivals.com Florida Top 100, had 91 tackles and six sacks in 2005.
