Young opens up with ACC offer

Aaron Young has been fantastic on the 7on7 circuit this spring and has already landed an offer from an up-and-coming ACC program.
Duke was the first offer for the Murrieta (Calif.) Murrieta Valley receiver and he said the Blue Devils definitely look good early in his recruitment.

"The receivers coach there looked over my film and he e-mailed me right away and told me he liked what he saw," Young said. "He told me to call him. We exchanged information, I gave him my coach's information and he just came out to see me last week.
"Ever since then everything has been good. They like what they see and it's been good."
The 6-foot-3, 185-pound prospect has talked highly of Duke but he's not ready to make his decision this early. Still, the Blue Devils look good at this point as other programs start to show more interest.
"That's a strong possibility to go there," Young said. "I know the academics are really good along with their football team. I don't think I'm going to commit anywhere anytime soon.
"I'm going to wait until I get all the offers and then I'll decide."
Plenty can happen for Young, who finished with about 600 receiving yards in his junior season and averaged around 16 yards per catch.
Washington might be the closest to offering and the Murrieta Valley standout said USC, Colorado and Boise State are also showing a good deal of interest.
"I think Washington is close to offering as well," Young said. "They recently invited me to their camp in June and by then I should know if they're going to offer me or not."
