Young has multiple visits on tap

MIAMI -- Keyshawn Young has settled on nothing. If he has, the Miami Senior High School wide receiver has a gift when it coms to playing coy. He names no leaders and declines to name a group of schools recruiting him with the most intensity.
Discussing summer visit plans is as far as he'll go these days.

"I'm definitely going to take visits to Alabama, LSU and USC," Young said on Friday. "I've got North Carolina on the schedule. I've got Clemson. I just got that offer."
Clemson is responsible for Young's most recent offer, and the Tigers hold a place of significance in the three-star prospect's mind. He's a fan of what he characterizes as the program's pass-heavy offense. It goes beyond that, though.
"I watch Sammy Watkins' highlight tape before every game, "Young said. "I watch it before all my games. Every, single one."
Young plans to make a verbal commitment to the school of his choice sometime in early January. Should he be selected for a national all-star game, he'll announce his choice there. And while his leader may not be in place, the main factor he's using to select a landing spot certainly is.
"I just want to see if I can play right away," Young said. "I don't want to redshirt.
Young, who plays both receiver and defensive back at Miami High, is being recruited exclusively as an offensive player.
